I stumbled upon agile, product management, and design thinking while teaching English for the Tech sector in 2019, soon thereafter beginning the process of integrating many of these newfound Product concepts into my own organization.
Since then, I’ve trained several some start-up teams on how to integrate product concepts like sprint planning and restrospectives, kanban boards for resource planning, backlog grooming and sprint velocity planning into their day to day processes to deliver customer value faster and more efficiently.
By helping teams and SMBEs adopt a lean and agile approach to product design and development, I also help internal teams identify blocks and inefficiencies in business processes with wireframes, flowcharts, and other simple visualizations to simplify complex information for key stakeholders, then providing suggestions for improvements and process automations.

I’m a passionate, tri-lingual and energetic teacher, group facilitator and small business management consultant with international experience drawn from study and work throughout Asia, Europe, and Latin America. I am driven by a fun and humanistic approach to developing teams and employees, and am knowledgeable and experienced in human resources, organizational psychology, motivation, experiential learning and curriculum development, online learning, teacher training, and conflict resolution.
7 years ago, I started “Impendus” with the aim of providing quality, flexible and accessible English communications (in person or online), and during that time, I have had the honor of teaching, facilitating, writing, coordinating and staffing English for Specific Purposes courses with teams and/or executive members of organizations such as:

Content

My very first forays into copywriting began when I moved to Colombia, and began to receive a surge of translation requests for things such as resumes, marketing materials and websites.
Over time, I built up experience working with government organizations such as the Colombian Embassy in Belgium, the Colombian Airforce, and the Secretary of Education, and a lot of the materials I was writing and translating were used for final materials at events and on social networks.
In addition to work for other companies, I also did the copywriting for various landing pages, course sales materials, and teacher training materials used in Impendus (the company of which I am founder & CEO).

I create high-quality e-learning and small business marketing voiceovers that go beyond just communicating the information, boosting engagement and learning retention through the use of tactics like humor, intonations and vocal fluctuations to liven up dry learning material.
I have experience with audiobooks and narrative story-telling, as well as voice-overs for online courses, commercials and company videos. I also offer voice over work in various languages (English, Spanish, Russian), as well as translations between Spanish and English when needed.
Lastly, I provide support for the pre-production script writing process to edit for style and tone adjustments for brand voice when converting text-based educational content into a more convenient audio format.
